Our Fabric
Our appetite to create new products and buy new products is infinite. The planet's resources aren't.
All of the fabrics used to create our pieces are constructed with a special fiber, ECONYL® regenerated nylon is made by recovering nylon waste such as fishing nets, carpets destined for landfill and industrial plastic.
Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity, that means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil based nylon and has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality. Majority of textile waste ends up in landfills across the planet, caused by over production of fast fashion companies - What doesn't sell by the end of the season, gets thrown away.
Our approach at PERE is to produce by demand, not produce and then create unnecessary demand. This is why we prefer the Pre-order approach especially as a small new business, we take our time perfecting each piece that we strive for you to keep for many many years to come.
Fair and Ethical Trade
When reaching out to manufacturers around the world, we came across all different ways of production. It was most important to us to find a manufacturer that cares about the safety and wellness of their workers. We believe that good things are made with love and patience, not in sweatshops.
All of the pieces you shop here are manufactured in Bali, Indonesia under controlled environment the supports its employees and creates a safe and friendly work environment.
Last but not Least - Packaging
As much as E-commerce has made all of our lives easier, we cannot deny all the waste that can come along with the convenience of having something shipped to our door. So we make sure we pack our pieces with as minimal waste as possible, not only from our door to yours, but especially from the manufacturer to us. All pieces are wrapped in bulk, with corn starch material that is easily biodegradable- no plastic.
